"I've been with Dr. Steve Arthur for the past couple years since he had his first location in East Agana. Him and his staff have always treated me like family and showed me compassion on days when I'm in so much pain. With all the new technologies the clinic has to offer and his staff accommodating me at the last minute, which is pretty much quite often. I will forever be a patient of his. I can't thank them enough for all the help they have provided me on relieving my pain from having Multiple Cervical Spondylosis and Facet Hypertrophy. There are days when I can't bare the pain on my neck, but I never have to worry if I'll be able to get an appointment on the same day or within the week. Besides doc adjusting every part of my back and neck. I gotta say my favorite machine in his clinic is the PEMF (Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field). "Love this place and it’s stellar customer service! The staff are so friendly, warm, and welcoming. They really do make you feel like family. Appointments are sharp with little to no wait time which is something I really appreciate! I’ve been going to see Dr. Steve for the past year now for low back pain and occasional flare ups and he’s excellent and very knowledgeable at chiropractic care. His office is also equipped with advanced technology and exercise machines to even help strengthen my lumbar muscles. When I get a bad flare up, I get laser therapy along with my adjustment and that definitely helps with the pain and inflammation. Technology like that is so hard to come by especially on Guam with already limited resources. I do my best to be active and practice a healthy lifestyle. Active Life takes care of my back and keeps me aligned. I’m so grateful these treatments are even available on island. Guam is so blessed to have Active Life!! 10/10 recommend!"

Dr. Arthur is awesome at what he does, any issues I’ve had after weight lifting or even a flight back from a vacation would no longer be present after the visit. They also have their laser therapy which targets deep muscle recovery and I always feel brand new afterwards. The staff are wonderful and awesome with their service and just how friendly they are. Never a boring moment and no longer a painful one after visits. "Gamechanger!!! I've been dealing with consistent pain in the back of my neck from a whiplash injury at the beginning of last year from a 40ft cliff jumping excursion. It "healed" somewhat but I would have reoccurring flare-ups since then, ranging from painfully irritating to very severe. And I'd always hoped that someday it would fully heal. BUT I never dreamed that it would vanish in just 1 appointment!! After a laser session and a much needed adjustment, the pain was instantly gone! In the days after, I kept anticipating my neck to hurt at certain movements but there's absolutely none. It's like I've taken pain medication, there's nothing. My neck moves so freely now. It's amazing to me that I don't feel that sensitivity in my neck anymore. Another appointment that I had involved the Shockwave treatment. My left knee joint would hurt, like a pinched nerve type pain, when sitting for too long and I thought it was just something that would take time to go away. It didn't seem to get better or worse, just constant. So again I visited Dr. Arthur at Active Life, and after 1 session of the shockwave treatment, the issue was gone! It's like the healing/recovery time gets significantly shortened. Sometimes even eliminated. It's a relief to have this kind of treatment available on Guam, especially as I do like to live an active life with yoga and the various fun that come with living on paradise."

"Amazing Amazing Amazing! Had an awesome experience. Highly recommended and a definite must if you're experiencing body pain. This was my first time visiting Active Life and I didn't even know what to expect. All I knew is that taking pain meds daily was not going to stop the pain and that I needed an alternate solution. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and very welcoming. They were easy to talk to and very accommodating. I didn't have to wait more than 2 days to get an appointment. I also appreciated the appointment reminders and open communication. Dr. Steve was just as awesome! He was professional and knew exactly what would help my back pain. I basically went in asking for a miracle as I was suffering with back pain for almost a month. And a miracle is what I got... LOL! And it was pain and medicine free!!! I received about 3 treatments (laser, shock and chiropractic) all in less than an hour. I walked out feeling a little of the back pain but it went away in 3 days! "Receiving superior treatment to alleviate pain I have accumulated through years of sports and time in the military. For the first time, I feel like I am making true, cumulative progress in contrast to what I have experienced through other clinics and specialists. The most significant help from Active Life was likely in re-evaluating a supposed leg-length discrepancy for which I had been wearing a heel lift, and which for a seemingly minor prescription, was negatively affecting my gait, my knee, my hips, and my overall daily body mechanics. That thing went in the garbage. Previously, there was never any long-term plan for monitoring this condition, just to wear the lift for the rest of my life. During my visits, I feel I receive treatment that hones in on the cause and rehabilitates the damage done, vice only attending to superficial symptoms. I feel confident that, despite the natural toll that comes with aging, I am on a path to returning to things I used to enjoy, like running and team sports, and just a normal lifestyle others may take for granted, where pain isn't always at the forefront."

"It started out as a slight discomfort around my lower back, then in the next few days it became a sharp pain when I started to walk. it was so bad that my wife commented that I looked like an old man all hunched over, i was only missing the cane. I went to urgent care and was told that it was a muscle strain and was given pain killers and a handout to strengthen my lower back. I was also told that it would be two to three weeks before I could do my regular workouts. I took the pain killers and did the exercises for the three weeks and I still had that pain in my back. It hurt so much that I could not even do a push up. Then as I was talking to a co-worker, he told me that the chiropractor he was seeing could help my condition since it help him in the past with his back and shoulder, I had nothing to lose so I asked him who was his chiropractor and he told me Active Life with Dr. Arthur. I made an appointment and after an initial evaluation Dr. Arthur aligned my back and treated me with Laser therapy. Almost immediately my back felt better, Dr. Arthur told me to give it about two days and I can return to my regular workouts. Two days later, I was back to my normal routine. The Laser Therapy worked! Now every time I get some pain in my back or knees, I make an appointment with Dr. Arthur to be pain free.
